We tried to put everything you would need to know before the wedding here to help you plan a great weekend with us. Some of the details will be added closer to the date as we finalize transportation options and move closer to collecting RSVPs.

Our Story

Part 1: The Dog Park

Brendan and Ali met at the Whitefish dog park in 2019, shortly after Brendan adopted his dog, Popcorn. In fact, when Brendan and Popcorn went to the dog park (which was every day), more often than not they would run into Ali and her pup, Sofie. It didn’t take long until every day when Ali was at the gate to the park, Popcorn would sprint across the field to jump up and greet her with a big excited hello. After some time of being casual acquaintances, their friendship blossomed into something more.

Part 2: Our Life Together

They began dating in 2021 and over the years have enjoyed exciting adventures across the west such as backpacking trips around Montana’s backcountry, hidden hot springs in Idaho, a national parks of Utah road trip, and beautiful glacial lakes of British Columbia.

Part 3: The Adventure Continues

Brendan proposed to Ali in early 2026 as they moved into their new house in Whitefish. They are excited to see where their journey together brings them to next!

The Venue

Spruce Lodge at Glacier Camp

Glacier camp is a wonderful summer camp that sits on the scenic shores of Flathead Lake in Montana with breathtaking views of the Mission Mountain Range. This camp location is the perfect setting to bring all of our friends and family together for a 4 day wedding extravaganza.

The Spruce Lodge is a beautiful facility with 13 guest rooms, a multi-purpose room, a small kitchen, laundry facilities, dining room, and expansive upper deck. The wedding ceremony will take place on the lawn in front of the lodge. The reception and other events will take place in the dining area of the lodge.

Throughout the weekend we will have access to the entire camp property including a lakeside dock with watercraft available!

Lodging

This venue felt perfect because we can provide lodging accommodations for everyone! Our ultimate goal is to have all of our loved ones in the same place for the duration of the event, so please plan to stay on site with us! All guests will be assigned lodging to ensure there are accommodations for everyone. Most rooms or cabins will be shared by 4-8 people. You will have the opportunity to provide your lodging preference with your RSVP. We will do our best to accommodate everyone’s preferences. Lodging options include: Spruce Lodge, Cabins, Tent sites, or RV sites.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the vibe?

Think summer camp with a fancy event.

I see a 4 day date range, when is the actual wedding?

The wedding will take place on Saturday, August 14th, 2027. There are activities planned for the 4 day date range.

Should I come for just the wedding day or the whole weekend?

We would love for you to come for the entire 4 day event! If you can only attend on the wedding day, we understand and would still love to see you.

Alcohol policy?

Alcohol is permitted and will be served throughout the weekend. On the day of the wedding celebration, there will be an open bar with a bartender.

What should I bring?

Bring your Semi-formal wedding day attire, swimwear, comfy clothes, hiking clothes, etc. Definitely bring sunscreen and bugspray as well.

Should I rent a car?

No need! While there is limited parking available at the camp, we will be providing a shuttle service on both arrival and departure days to get guests to and from the airport. More details to come as the event gets closer.

Should I get a hotel room?

No need! Lodging accommodations are available on site for everyone! There are a limited number of hotel rooms as well as cabins on the property.

Can I bring my kids?

Please do! We are excited to celebrate with everyone, and with the event being at a summer camp, there is plenty to keep the kids occupied for the weekend. We would love for you to bring your family, please include them in your RSVP.

What kind of weather can I expect?

80’s during the afternoon, cooling off once the sun goes down to upper 40’s by morning. Think a light jacket in the morning, but definitely wanting shorts by lunch time. Check AccuWeather for specifics.

What airport should I fly into?

Glacier International Airport (FCA) Kalispell, MT is the closest and easiest option, where there will be transportation available. Another option is flying into Missoula (MSO), but that would require a car rental.

Can I bring a camper or RV?

Yes! There are 3 RV sites available.
